Claudio Enrico Palazzi

Full professor

Full Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Padua. He is the head of the bachelor and master degree programs in Computer Science. His research interests are primarily focused on the design and analysis of mobile systems and applications, Internet architectures, multimedia entertainment and online social networks. On these topics, he is active in various technical program committees of the most prominent international conferences and is author of about 200 papers, published in international conference proceedings, books, and journals.

Ombretta Gaggi

Associate professor

Associate professor. Her research interests include web and mobile accessibility and the use of technology to assist people with disabilities. Moreover, she is interested in ubiquitous computing, HCI, smartphone applications, in particular frameworks for cross-platform development available on the market, and the criteria for selecting the correct framework for application development. She also studied the use of touch interfaces and the serious game paradigm to enhance the diagnosis and rehabilitation process, as well as reduce the dropout phenomenon from therapy.

Mirko Franco

Ph.D. student

Mirko Franco is a PhD Candidate in Brain, Mind and Computer Science at the University of Padua. He received his B.Sc. (2019) and M.Sc. (2021, cum laude) in Computer Science from the same institution. His research interests include trust and safety in online social platforms, web accessibility, and mobile computing. He is member of the Technical Program Committee of conferences such as IEEE CCNC, ACM GoodIT, and ACM SAC.

Lorenzo Perinello

Ph.D. student

My research project focuses on optimization strategies for urban mobility, with a particular emphasis on advanced methodologies and formulations to describe and address routing and related problems in sharing mobility, vehicular, and ad-hoc networks.

Research Collaborator in accessibility at the Department of Mathematics, University of Padua. He received his B.Sc. (2022, cum laude) and M.Sc. (2025) in Computer Science from the same institution. Areas of interest include research into accessibility and inclusive technologies, web and mobile UI/UX, and serious games for neurodivergent users.
